CCAR was pleased to provide recent grants to dance theater companies Kidd Pivot (Vancouver) and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Kidd Pivot is currently on tour with its work “Revisor” created by Canadian choreographer Crystal Pite, CM, and Canadian actor Jonathon Young. Hubbard Street's recent performance at The Joyce in New York included Canadian choreographer Aszure Barton’s “Busk.”

Uninvited: Canadian Women Artists in the Modern Moment, a major exhibition of Canadian women artists that coincides with, and offers commentary on, the centenary celebration of the Group of Seven.

CCAR Covid-19 Special Relief Grants Initiative
As a result of the pandemic, CCAR provided special Relief Grants to multidisciplinary arts and cultural institutions in Canada and the U.S. Special consideration was given to small and mid-size regional organizations with cross-border elements whose programming and festivals were canceled, and to communities that experienced high concentrations of coronavirus.

CCAR 2020 Year-End Covid-19 Special Relief Grants
CCAR was pleased to provide support to multidisciplinary arts & cultural institutions as part of a second series of special Relief Grants in response to income loss and impact due to COVID-19.
